Hathrox III was an urban planet in the Hathrox system. Its civilization was destroyed in a biochemical civil war in about 1,196 BBY[3]. The planet was quarantined by the New Republic. All attempts by scouts to study the planet resulted in their deaths, as well as the deaths of the rescue team that came after them, and the quarantine staff that came after them.
