The Heavy Assault Vehicle Transport B5 Juggernaut, or HAVT B5 Juggernaut transport, was an armored fighting vehicle used by the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War. It was quite similar to the A5 Juggernaut.

[edit] Characteristics
Despite having some armor and weaponry, the B5 model was considered more of a transport than an attack craft like the older models. They were known to utilize a special laser defense system that was designed to shoot down enemy missiles before they reached friendly lines, which made them a valuable support element in Imperial armored columns.
Unlike previous models, in which the rear housed an additional control center, the rear end of the B5 Juggernaut would open up to load and unload infantry.
[edit] History
The B5 was used by the Empire in various battles as a method of transporting troops across a battlefield. A stolen one was used by Tyber Zann of the Zann Consortium to steal a Sith Holocron from Palpatine's Imperial Archive.
