Hekula was a Dug, and the son of the famous Podracer pilot Sebulba. Following in his father's footsteps, Hekula inherited Anakin Skywalker's Podracer, which Sebulba had purchased from Qui-Gon Jinn. Unfortunately, Hekula crashed the pod on the planet Euceron and abandoned it. He was also the father of Pugwis.
