Helska was an astronomical object located in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories regions.[2] It was situated in grid square L-2 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Helska was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon on a galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Helska IV was introduced in The New Jedi Order: Vector Prime, a 1999 novel authored by R. A. Salvatore as the first installment of the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order series.[3] It was first visually depicted in "Making the Map," an article authored by Daniel Wallace for the sixty-fifth issue of the Star Wars Insider magazine,[4] which was published on January 21, 2003.[5]
