Hero of Cartao was a serialized short story written by Timothy Zahn that appeared in Star Wars Insider magazine. It was separated into three parts: Hero's Call (Issue 68), Hero's Rise (Issue 69), and Hero's End (Issue 70). It featured such characters as Jafer Torles and the pre-existing Zahn character of Kinman Doriana. It took place in 21 BBY and was essentially the story of how the Spaarti cloning cylinders came to Wayland.
