The nickname "Hero of Ossus" was an apelative used in certain Imperial circles to refer to Moff Rulf Yage, Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy, and who had participated in the Massacre at Ossus.

Yage, however, did not see himself as a hero for what he did on Ossus, and based on the words of his daughter he regretted the massacre. To the Jedi, he was known as the "Butcher of Ossus".
