Colonel Heron Strobestock was a petty knight of House Barnaba, that governed the Barnaba Province of the Tapani sector, and a officer in the Imperial Army. He was married to Dame Elspeth Strobestock.

It was said that he was a rising star in some august Imperial circles and his heroic exploits were often talked about among the noble classes in the Tapani Sector, especially when his wife was present to enhance the stories.

There was talk of elevating him to baron if he returned home long enough to attract a sponsor.
