Het Nkik was a free-thinking Jawa from Tatooine.

Like most Jawas, Het was a master trader. Unlike the rest of his species, he believed that the Jawas should not have to live in fear of their fellow inhabitants, Humans and Tusken Raiders. His radical ideas were considered dangerous by his fellow Jawas, even his trusted clan elder, Wimateeka.^[3]

After his brother and best friend Jek Nkik were killed by sandtroopers, Het purchased a Blastech DL-44 heavy blaster pistol, even though weapon possession was illegal for Jawas under Imperial law.^[3]

In 0 BBY Het spoke with another Jawa, and moments later with the Ranat, Reegesk, in Chalmun's Cantina. Reegesk would eventually steal the power pack from Het's blaster.^[2]

In an alley outside the cantina, Het tried to enact revenge on a group of sandtroopers, but when the pistol failed, 1047 shot him dead.^[2]

Het Nkik was a curious Jawa. He often contradicted the ideals of his kind; for one, he believed that the Jawas should not have to live in fear of Humans and Tusken Raiders. With this mindset, he was able to make several trades during his lifetime with these other species.^[3]
