Baron Hieromarn was an alias of the Snivvian crime boss Marn Hierogryph, who was an associate of Zayne Carrick. Playing the role of an industrialist from Cadomai, "Baron Hieromarn" ventured to the planet of Taris around 3,964 BBY. He wished to gain investors in a great venture to Hocekureem to fish for fleek eel, a delicious meal that could be appreciated by the Tarisians. One area in which he tried to secure investors was the Market Street Outdoor Exchange, where he experienced success.

Hieromarn stayed in the Middle City's Junavex Hotel. A family friend supposedly worked as the night desk clerk there.
