Esteren Higgs was Chief Engineer of the Imperial Survey Corps vessel Wanderer at the time of its crash on the crystalline world of Isis. Higgs was fatally burned in the fire started by a critical hit on the engine room, during the gunfight which led to the crash of the Wanderer on Isis. He was an expert in hyperdrive operation.
