High Flight Beta Squadron was a starfighter squadron that served with the New Republic Defense Fleet; the unit's insignia featured a single T-65 X-wing starfighter, the squadron's craft of choice, flying above a mountain peak. In 7.5 ABY, the squadron served as a part of General Han Solo's fleet in the hunt for Warlord Zsinj. During the Battle of Selaggis, High Flight Beta Squadron flew as a part of Commander Wedge Antilles' flight group.
During the New Republic's successful admission of Adumar and the subsequent defense of the world from an Imperial invasion fleet, High Flight Beta Squadron again served under Antilles, this time protecting Remember Derra and Solar Wind Squadrons as well as the Adumari Blade units while they attacked Agonizer. They were stationed aboard the Allegiance.
