The Hive Council was the government body of the X'Ting of Ord Cestus.

Located beneath the city of ChikatLik, the Council contained twelve elder representatives, one for each of the planet's hives. A member of the Council was addressed as "my lord."

The Hive Council advised the Regent. Caiza Quill was a member.
