Its ingredients included boiled seaweed and oxidized spices.^[1] Senator Padmé Amidala hated it, Senator Chi Eekway enjoyed it, and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi was allergic to it.^[1] Kenobi once experienced such a severe allergic reaction to hoi-broth that it almost triggered a diplomatic crisis during a toast on Ando Prime.^[1] It was served at Dex's Diner on the planet Coruscant as the Daily soup on Benduday for 2.1 credits.^[2]
