A holotable (also spelled holo-table) was a piece of furniture that projected holograms above its surface. The military used them for battle analysis,[1] and civilians could use them to establish communication with other beings,[2] or watch sporting events.[3]
Behind the scenes
Holotables feature prominently in the non-canon 2015 mobile game, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, where they are used by the player to wage battles with a plethora of Star Wars characters.
