The Uurbahhahvoovv Joiners & Artisans created numerous homemade evacuation pods during the Clone Wars. In the event of a worst-case scenario, the Wookiees planned to use these pods to evacuate their planet.
When Order 66 was issued, Tarfful and Chewbacca took Yoda to such a pod. Yoda left the planet in the pod, and was retrieved by the Tantive IV.
