Honor-wife was the name used to describe the one of the secondary wives of a Cerean male. Because the ratio of Cerean men to women was 1 : 20, males took several honor-wives in addition to their bond-wife. The relationship between the bond-wife and the honor-wives was often strained, especially in regards to the topic of children.
