Hormuuz was the name of a XQ5 Platform used by the Rebel Alliance as of 3 ABY, located in the Gelgelar system. It served as a hospital station.

HistoryEdit

When Imperial Task Force Vengeance was deployed in Elrood sector, the Alliance was forced to withdraw from their assets there, including Hormuuz. In the middle of the evacuation, the Empire attacked with Assault Gunboats, the Victory Star Destroyer Stormhawk and the Imperial Star Destroyer Rage, trying to destroy the fleeing Rebel transports. Eventually the evacuation was complete, Hormuuz however fell into Imperial hands.

Shortly later, the Alliance staged a raid against their former station in an effort to reclaim supplies left behind during the evacuation. During the process the station was disabled yet again.

What became of the station beyond the operations in Airam sector is unknown, however it is possible that it remained in Imperial hands, as the rebels weren't intending to recapture it. If so then it was also possible that the station was destroyed.
