House Baliss was the estate of the House of Baliss, an Alderaanian noble house that like many other houses was simply referred to as "House Baliss". During the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, the House of Baliss remained neutral when the Alderaan Civil War broke out, but their estate was overrun by the native Killiks and abandoned. Duke Yun Baliss conquered the estate of the House Teraan after House Baliss was forced to retreat there, making their estate the family's new home.
