Iain Lowson was an author of the The Official Star Wars Fact File, published 2002 through 2005. Before this, he worked on Titan's Official Star Wars Magazine, as well as the original version of the UK Star Wars Fan Club. He was co-creator, editor and sole writer on the discontinued DeAgostini follow-up to the Fact File, based on the Star Wars Miniatures game from Wizards of the Coast. That project, with beautiful floor plans from artist Andy J. Hepworth, was well received by fans in the very few places it saw release, but never made it past issue four.

Iain is currently working on the UK version of DeAgostini's Official Star Wars Starships and Vehicles Collection.
