Ib-Dunn was a male blue-green Smotl who worked for Soergg the Hutt in Cuipernam, the capital of the planet Ansion. He worked as a communications expert in 22 BBY during the Separatist Crisis, when many worlds left the Galactic Republic to form the Confederacy of Independent Systems. When Ogomoor, Soergg's Ansionian majordomo, was on his way to report to Soergg that an ambush intended to kill Jedi Master Luminara Unduli and her Padawan Barriss Offee had failed, Ib-Dunn stared at him with a look of pity.^[1]
