Idolian fever was a little known disease which Humans were able to contract. Nearly twenty years after the New Sith Wars, the Doan Prince Gerran contracted this mysterious illness, prompting his father to contact the healer, Serra, to cure him. She nursed Gerran back to health over the course of three months and by that time, the two had fallen in love. The two married and Serra became the Princess of Doan.
