The Iego council was a body of government composed of residents of the spaceport city of Cliffhold on Iego. The council ruled Cliffhold and convened in the Cliffhold meeting hall when assembled. Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker met with the council during their mission to recover Reeksa root from Iego. Despite opposition from council member Amit Noloff, the two were able to convice the people of Cliffhold that Iego was being guarded by a Separatist security system, not the malevolent god known as Drol.
