Ihopek was a planet evacuated by Imperials after the Battle of Endor, along with Narth. While they were being evacuated, the Star Destroyer Gnisnal was demolished by internal explosions. This provided enormous amounts of information to the New Republic, giving them a complete copy of the Imperial Order of battle.

Behind the scenesEdit

The planet was mentioned twice in Before the Storm, called Ihopek in one instance and Ipotek in the other. It is unclear which name author Michael P. Kube-McDowell intended the world to be known as. The former name was the one catalogued in the Star Wars Encyclopedia and used in later reference materials.
