Ihu Niopua was a Senator in the Galactic Republic. Approximately one year after the Battle of Geonosis, he was quoted on the HNE evening news praising the efforts of the Coruscant Security Force in disrupting a terrorist network operating on Coruscant. In fact this was mostly the work of Kal Skirata and his Clone Commandos.
