The Imperator was an "Interdictor Dreadnaught" which was assigned to Black Sword Command, located at one of the shipyards in the Koornacht Cluster.

HistoryEdit

Captured eight months after the Battle of Endor by the alien Yevetha, this ship subsequently entered the fleet of the Duskhan League, and was used in 16 ABY to capture the New Republic fleet shuttle Tampion, and to kidnap Han Solo.

As she was on the list of Black Sword ships acquired by Ayddar Nylykerka, the Imperator was no smaller than a 900m Victory-class Star Destroyer (this was the smallest capital ship asset of the fleet), and she may have belonged to the larger class of interdictor which shared the basic spaceframe of the 1.6km Imperial-class Star Destroyer. With the rest of the Imperial-designed ships in Duskhan League service, she was recaptured by surviving Black Sword personnel during the Battle of N'zoth in 17 ABY, and redirected to the Deep Core.

Behind the scenesEdit

It is possible that this ship was the Splendor of Yevetha which served in the Duskhan League fleet at N'zoth, but New Republic Intelligence later believed that the ships in Yevethan hands had included at least one ship of the smaller Immobilizer 418 design, which means that the identification of the Imperator with the Splendor is not completely certain.
