The Imperial Code of Military Conduct supervised the smooth running of the Imperial Army and the Imperial Navy of the Sith Empire through out the Great Galactic War and the Cold War.

Article 27-A defined the lawful transfer of command of Imperial Transport should something happen to the captain; Command would transfer to the executive officer along with promotion to captain. It is unknown if if the same article applied to larger Imperial ships.
