Imperial Decree A-SL-4557.607.232 was a pivotal piece of Imperial legislation which essentially legalized slavery throughout the galaxy. The document also streamlined the institution, making it easier for slavers and their guilds to carry out their operations, which they confined mainly to the Outer Rim Territories.
