Imperial Decree A-SL-4557.607.232 was a pivotal piece of Imperial legislation which essentially legalized slavery throughout the galaxy under certain conditions.^[1] The document also streamlined the institution, making it easier for slavers and their guilds to carry out their operations, which they confined mainly to the Outer Rim Territories.
