Imperial Forest Camouflage Armor was a type of armor issued out during 1 ABY. It saw limited use during the Galactic Civil War, particularly on forest worlds where the armor could easily blend in.

HistoryEdit

There were two types of Imperial Forest Camouflage Armor. One was modeled after the appearance of standard Imperial Stormtrooper armor. It saw some, albeit very little usage during the Galactic Civil War. Sstrigge wore parts of this type of armor during Life Day.

A more common version of the armor, was modeled after the appearance of Imperial Scout Trooper armor. It was frequently offered to those who served the Galactic Empire dutifully at the Emperor's Retreat. It was also similar in appearance to the type of armor worn by Swamptroopers, early in the Galactic Civil War.

Behind the ScenesEdit

Imperial Forest Camouflage Armor is offered to players of Star Wars Galaxies who complete the "Imperial Themepark" quest at the Emperor's Retreat. The armor was originally intended to appear like the stormtrooper version, but the players felt the armor looked too "ugly." The outcry was so bad, that the Developers had the art team remodel the camouflage armor before pushing it to the live servers. The old version of the armor was nonetheless still used by certain Non-Player Characters (NPCs).
