The Imperial Merchant Galactic Academy trained civilian spacers for the Merchant Galactic, a supply and logistics auxiliary fleet of the Imperial Navy during the time of the Galactic Empire. Based on Rhinnal, its graduates would serve for an obliged period in the Imperial Supply Fleet before following their own careers on commercial freighters. In large part because of its indirect ties to the Navy, it was also part of the Imperial Academy system.
