Imperial Spin is a short story written by Greg Gorden. The story consists of three holomessages by Imperial advisor Ars Dangor. It was first printed in the Imperial Sourcebook and was later archived on Star Wars Hyperspace.
Plot

In two holomessages, one to the Imperial citizenry and another to the Grand Moffs, Ars Dangor announced the abolition of the Imperial Senate and the transition of administrative authority to the Grand Moffs.
In a holomessage to the military hierarchy and Grand Moffs, Dangor reaffirmed the Empire's commitment to the Tarkin Doctrine after the Battle of Yavin and announced the creation of Death Squadron, led by Darth Vader and his flagship, the Super Star Destroyer Executor.
