The Ambush of the Leafar occurred in 0 ABY when forces of the Galactic Empire ambushed a Leafar merchant convoy at an important transfer point near their system. Five Rebel Alliance X-wing starfighters were present and began attacking the Imperial force so as to buy time for the Leafar to escape. Further Rebel reinforcements were then called in for support.
