The Imperial crest was the symbol of the Galactic Empire and used on many things including uniforms and consoles. It was a corruption of the Bendu's Galactic Roundel used by the Galactic Republic during its waning days as their crest. It was later replaced with a new variation during the New Galactic Empire.

The crest was used on the symbol of a number of imperial organizations as well as on the bounty hunter House Benelex insignia^[1].
