The Independent Traders' Infonet or ITI was a newsnet directed at free-traders and other small-time merchants during the Galactic Civil War. It informed them about relevant goings-on in the galaxy, such as correct use of permits and documents. Although licensed, it was closely monitored by Imperial authorities on the lookout for smugglers and other illegal trade activities.
