The Indomitable was a MC140 Scythe-class battle cruiser serving the Galactic Alliance from at least 130 ABY.

Indomitable was the flagship of Admiral Gar Stazi and the symbol of power of the Galactic Alliance during the Sith–Imperial War. After the Battle of Caamas, during which the Galactic Alliance was defeated by the Empire, it became the flagship of the Galactic Alliance Core Fleet.

After seven years of attacks on Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire, the Indomitable saw its last fight at the Battle of Mon Calamari. After being outmaneuvered by Stazi, Admiral Dru Valan ordered his battered fleet to destroy the Indomitable at all costs. When the rest of the Alliance fleet had fled the system on Stazi's orders, he ordered the ship to be evacuated so he could ram it into the Mon Calamari Shipyards, but was knocked out by Rogue Leader Jhoram Bey. Instead, it was the ship's captain and Stazi's second-in-command, Jaius Yorub, who piloted the ship into the shipyards. He was killed in the attack, but managed to destroy a third of the shipyards while damaging another quarter.
The Indomitable was later replaced as flagship by the Imperious-class Star Destroyer Alliance.
