Industrious Thoughts was the lead ship in the Diamal-led pro-Bothan fleet at the Second Battle of Bothawui.
During the first phase of the battle, it was the command starship for Senator Porolo Miatamia. Lando Calrissian was also on board, as a New Republic representative trying to defuse the crisis. When the Ishori flagship Predominance fired on the Bothan capital city of Drev'starn, Miatamia's fleet entered the battle. At the time, they were unaware that Imperial Intelligence saboteurs had taken control of weapons emplacements on the Predominance and attacked the city.
During the battle, Calrissian managed to contact Ponc Gavrisom and Leia Organa Solo, who had been on the Predominance trying to convince the anti-Bothan alliance to stand down. When Organa Solo took the Predominance on a new course to investigate a suspicious comet, Calrissian convinced Miatamia to follow them. Once they discovered that there were cloaked Imperial Remnant vessels in the system, Calrissian was hastily recommissioned as a general. With the Industrious Thoughts as his flagship, General Calrissian took command of the combined pro-Bothan and anti-Bothan fleets, and forced the Imperials to retreat.
