Insecurities is an article written by August Hahn and Cynthia Hahn as a tie in to the Living Force campaign. It was published on the Wizards of the Coast website on May 13, 2004 and in a narrative form detailed the efforts of Warlan Tosk and his companion Gibbs to secure a meeting room for Senator Lavina Wren, fearing that an assassination would be attempted. During the preparations, Tosk killed a veshet which he correctly believed was intended to attack the Senator on her arrival. This led him to take extra precautions for defense, which discouraged Gibbs—the true assassin—from attempting a strike.

In the context of the Living Force campaign, it marked the availability of the loyal bodyguard, infiltrator, and master spy prestige classes from the Hero's Guide sourcebook.
