The Internal Activities Committee was a legislative committee that was part of the Galactic Republic Senate's Judiciary Committee. It was considered to be a spiritual partner of the Senate's Ethics Committee. Distinctively from the Ethics Committee, however, the Internal Activities Committee had the power to bring forth criminal charges on individuals. The Internal Activities Committee was active during the Clone Wars,[1] which lasted from 22 BBY to 19 BBY.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The Internal Activities Committee was introduced in the new Star Wars canon in the 2019 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying supplementary sourcebook, Rise of the Separatists.[1] The Internal Activities Committee originally appeared in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Cloak of Deception, a 2001 novel by James Luceno.[3]
