Ioth was an alien Rebel agent, a captain of the Alliance, and a Imperial Naval Supply analyst.
Ioth received information provided by the spy Troomis about the movements of an Imperial fleet on Oplovis. Ioth discovered that the fleet was planning an attack on Mantooine. He gave this information to his superior, Commander Zgorth'sth, which led to the Rebel counter-offensive to stop the Imperial fleet.
