The Iotran Police Force, or IPF, was the leading military and police force on Iotra. The top eight members of IPF made up the Joint Council, the lead ruling body of Iotran.

It was formed seven hundred years before the Galactic Civil War by consolidating various military orders, including the Kilandrin Royal Forces, the Lurathi Guard and the Jengardin Millenial Warriors.^[1]
