Warning: This infobox is missing the following parameters: flora, xyz, routes, otherlife, fauna Irith was a polluted, motley and overcrowded planet located in the Irith system of Hutt Space, a region of the galaxy controlled by the Hutt species. The world was a stop on the Ootmian Pabol, a hyperlane that ran through the Hutt controlled area and connected Irith to the planets Du Hutta abd Nar Bo Sholla.[1] Irith was the homeworld of the criminal Romort Raort, and while growing up there he acted as a bully, stealing other childrens' lunch money.[3]
Behind the scenes
Irith was first mentioned in the Dark Empire Sourcebook which was written by Michael Allen Horne for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game in 1993. The planet's location in Hutt space was then revealed by the 2009 source book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry.
