BiographyEdit

A Force-sensitive, Ish-Bel Tur was discovered by the Jedi Order and trained in the ways of the Force at one of their academies. Constructing a green-bladed lightsaber with a custom hilt baring a unique emblem while a Padawan, Tur passed the Trials of Knighthood and was made a Jedi Knight by the Jedi High Council. Assigned to the Almas Academy, an experimental academy on Almas in the Cularin system, Jedi Tur took assignments from the Almas Council.[3]

In about 21 BBY,[1] Jedi Tur was assigned as liaison officer between the Order and the Thaereian military during the early months of the galaxy-wide conflict known as the Clone Wars. Unlike many Jedi on Almas, Jedi Tur had reported to the High Council at the start of the war and accepted the rank of General within the Grand Army of the Republic. When Thaereian rebellion leader Gerta Haman was detained, Jedi Tur was assigned to escort her to Coruscant to meet with Senator Lavina Durada-Vashne Wren. En route to the capital planet, Tur's transport was attacked and all aboard were killed.[2]

LegacyEdit

Tur's lightsaber was next seen in the hands of Ku-Kak, the Wampa bodyguard of slaver Phylus Mon; perhaps indicating Mon and Ku-Kak's involvement in the accident that claimed Tur's life. Ku-Kak gave the lightsaber to Mischa Vorfren, one of Phylus Mon's slave minions. Vorfren planned to offer Tur's lightsaber to some of Phylus Mon's enemies, in exchange for their help to free him from Phylus Mon's control.[2]

Notes and referencesEdit

  1. 1.0 1.1 The Living Force Campaign Guide states that the Living Force campaign is set a year after the Invasion of Naboo, an event that is placed 32 BBY by The New Essential Chronology. As the Living Force adventure Philosophy moved the campaign 10 years into the future, to the era of the Clone Wars, Thaere Is Not Your Friend can therefore be dated to about 21 BBY.
