Ithorian religion

The Ithorian religion was based on the worship of nature. They especially worshiped "Mother Jungle," the personification of their homeworld's world-spanning jungle. Only those who aimed to remain there for life were allowed to go into Mother Jungle.
The Ithorian religion was integrated into their civil society. Each Ithorian herd was led by a priest, who also acted as the herd's healer. The priests were all Force-sensitive, as were the Oracles who were able to hear Mother Jungle's "call" and descend to it. The high priest of the Ithorian religion was also the leader of the Ithorian nation. Momaw Nadon and Relal Towron were two such leaders.
