J'Mikel was an Anx Jedi Knight during the final days of the Galactic Republic. He trained the Twi'lek Jedi Xiaan Amersu as his Padawan.
He was murdered by Aurra Sing, who took his violet-bladed lightsaber as a souvenir. Aayla Secura later retrieved it from Sing and returned it to Xiaan.
