The JV-74 ion engine was an ion engine designed by Novaldex. It was more powerful that the previous JV-71 ion engine and boasted three additional collision tube pairs.

The JV-74 was installed on the standard models of the Starfeld ZH-25 Questor to offset the increased size and bulk when compared to the earlier Starfeld Z-10 Seeker.
