Jaanu was a female witch-like minion of the Sith Lord and Separatist leader Count Dooku who lived during the last years of the Galactic Republic. She wielded twin red-bladed lightsabers and piloted a skiff. Jaanu was defeated by the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker on the planet Tatooine during the Clone Wars, an inter-galactic conflict which raged between 22 and 19 BBY.^[1]

Behind the scenesEdit

Jaanu was first mentioned in The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia (2008), a book published by Del Rey. The book is her only mention in canon so far.^[1]
