The Jade Moon was a moon of Loronar in the Core Worlds. It was a major construction facility for Loronar Corporation as well as a supply hub. AT-ATs were built on the moon for the Galactic Empire. Kasan Moor led the Rebel Alliance flight group Rogue Squadron to attack the facility, where Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles led an aerial assault, concentrating their attacks on an extremely well-defended power generator, while Crix Madine led a squad of ground troops against the facility itself.

Later, the moon was under New Republic jurisdiction, and Leia Organa Solo toured its facilities.^[source?]
