Han Solo once claimed that his ship, Jaina's Light, had been named after his mother. This would make her Jaina Solo and the namesake for his daughter, Jaina.

- Considering that Jaina's Light was registered under an alias of Han Solo, rather than Solo himself, the story about it having been named after his mother was likely made up, part of the backstory behind the character he was playing, rather than the truth about his own mother. However, due to the fact that Solo's own daughter was named Jaina, it can be inferred that Solo's mother may have in fact been named Jaina. That or he was just fond of the name.
