Jaius Yorub was a communications officer who served on the Indomitable under the command of Admiral Gar Stazi. During the Battle of Caamas, Yorub, under the order of Stazi, sent a message to any Galactic Alliance warships that did not want to surrender to the Empire to form up on the Indomitable and retreat.
Seven years later, the Sullustan held the rank of Captain and was the aide of Admiral Stazi. He was on board the Indomitable with Stazi at the Battle of Mon Calamari. While Stazi's original plan was to evacuate the rest of the fleet and troops and drive the Indomitable into the Mon Calamari Shipyards himself, Yorub ordered Rogue Squadron leader Jhoram Bey to take the admiral off ship by force. With the admiral safe, Yorub completed Stazi's plan. Yorub was killed in the attack, but managed to destroy a third of the shipyards while damaging another quarter.
