Jal Shey Mentor armor, as its name implies, was worn by Jal Shey mentors. The mentors were considered to be unparalleled in their intellect and were known to often serve as widely respected teachers and advisors. Though tougher than the similar armor used by neophytes and advisors, this armor was still lightweight and did not interfere with the usage of Force powers.
