James Burns

James Burns is the co-owner of the UK's premier Star Wars website Jedi News, which he launched in May 2007 and runs today with former lightsabre.co.uk owner Mark Newbold.

From September 2010 and for 18 months James co-hosted the The ForceCast: Collectors Edition alongside Dan Curto. On April 1st 2012 Curto and Burns appeared on the April Fools Day 340th episode of Star Wars Action News, with special guest Steve Sansweet. A New Curto and Burns podcast is expected to launch later in 2012.

In his role as a freelance contributor to the Star Wars Insider James has interviewed David Iskra in an article entitled Treasure Trove featured in Star Wars Insider 112. The article also deals with the Star Wars costumes and props that follows Star Wars: In Concert around on its tour. While at Fan Days 3 and Celebration 5 he also interviewed Kenny Baker, Matt Wood, David Acord and Hugh Quarshie for the magazine.

Burns also had contributions printed in the 2010 Insider Special Edition and his Kenny Baker interview from issue #111 and Catherine Taber interview from issue #116 were reprinted in the 2012 Insider Special Edition and a photo of Burns was featured in the Mark Newbold authored piece focusing on the 2006 Artoo Awards in Star Wars Insider #90 dated September 2006.
